Quick Meal * Tortellini with Turkey Kielbasa

I consider this a Quick Meal Cheat because  this meal has a pre-made item (the tortellini). Most of my Quick Meals I make from scratch. Hopefully, you find these recipes work well for your family too!

1- 20 oz package of Buitoni Three Cheese Tortellini

1- 12 oz bag of frozen chopped spinach

2- 12 oz Turkey Kielbasa Sausage, sliced thinly

1/3 cup frozen onion and bell pepper blend

1 jar Francesco Rinaldi Three Cheese pasta sauce

1/4 tsp Black pepper

1/2 tsp Seasoning salt

1/4 tsp Parsley

1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning

1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

1/4 tsp Onion Powder

Take a large pot add water to about half full. Add the lid and place on medium-high heat to boil.

On cutting mat, slice the Kielbasa sausage thinly, about 1/8 of an inch, and set to the side.

In a sauté pan, add frozen bell pepper blend, on medium-high heat. Stir around until blend starts to soften, add sliced Kielbasa sausage to the pan. Cook mixture until the sausage is browned, turn heat to low.

The water should be boiling, add the Buitoni tortellini to the boiling water. It cooks completely in 8 minutes. Strain off hot water and set to the side, away from heat.

In the sauté pan add you seasonings, spinach, and jar of sauce to the sausage mixture, turn heat to medium. Stir around to allow sauce and spinach to heat.

After the meat/sauce mixture is heated, add over the tortellini. Stir gently to evenly distribute all the ingredients. Serve while hot. You can top with fresh basil or dried parmesan.
